• Passing any test or personal interview the University Council requires.
• Medical fitness.
• Approval from the study reference body for anyone employed in a government or private body.
• The student must be Saudi, have a Saudi mother, or be the wife of a Saudi citizen with children by him.
• Not be enrolled at another university, college or institute.
• Not dismissed from another university for disciplinary reasons, unless three separate years have passed.
• Science track, male students: 30% secondary, 30% Qudrat, 40% Tahsili.
• Science track, female students: 30% secondary, 30% Qudrat, 40% Tahsili.
• Arts track, male students: 50% secondary, 50% Qudrat, Tahsili not required.
• Arts track, female students: 50% secondary, 30% Qudrat, 20% Tahsili.

In the science track men and women are weighted alike: 30% secondary, 30% Qudrat and 40% Tahsili.³
