By the tiswa editorial team, from the official sources listed at the end of this guide. How we write our guides
The short answer
- Unipal: in-store student deals, mostly cafes, restaurants and entertainment; its student FAQ says more than 150 offers.
- The Unipal code: offers are used inside the app with a digital student ID, according to its membership page.
- The big brands online in any city, plus in-store discounts with a live digital student ID, in one app: tiswa.

What the Unipal app is
Unipal is a student discount app from Bahrain with a Saudi site in Arabic and English. Its Saudi offers are used in store, and its offers page is split into cafes, restaurants, fitness, entertainment, self care, shopping, study hubs and services. Its Saudi membership page shows a free plan called Balaash with a digital student ID, and its student FAQ lists a paid plan called Haiba at 20 BD a year. Memberships last a full year and renew when you re-verify that you are a student.
The Unipal code: how offers are used
According to its membership page, Unipal offers are used inside the Unipal app with a digital student ID, and every offer page has a "Show Unipal ID" button you show at the venue. So it is a membership in the app, not a code you copy, and Unipal's own site does not list a code to copy.
Does Unipal work in Jeddah?
Unipal's site labels its Saudi region "Riyadh", and some partners are chains with branches in other cities: its FireGrill page says FireGrill runs 33 restaurants across Saudi Arabia. To know whether an offer works in your city, check that partner's page. tiswa online deals are delivered to Jeddah, Makkah, Dammam, Abha and every other Saudi city at the same price, and in Jeddah tiswa also has in-store partners.
