How we write our guides

tiswa guides are written by the tiswa editorial team for university students in Saudi Arabia. This is how we choose topics, where facts come from, and how we fix mistakes.

Who writes the guides?

The tiswa editorial team in Jeddah: the same team that builds the tiswa student app and follows student deals every day. We never put a person's name on a guide that person did not write or review.

How do we pick topics?

From the searches students in Saudi Arabia actually type, and from the questions students send us. One guide per question, so the same answer never sits on two pages.

Where do the facts come from?

  • Official sources only: the maker, the ministry, the university, the regulator, or the venue's own site.
  • Every guide names its sources at the end, and the key facts link to their source in the text.
  • We never invent prices, times or ratings, and we show savings as percentages only.

How do we update guides and fix mistakes?

We review a guide when its official source changes, and we fix any mistake we find or that someone reports. Write to us from the support page.

How do the guides relate to tiswa deals?

The guides stand on their own and you do not need an account to read them. When a real student deal fits the topic, we mention it and link to its page in student deals.
