King Abdulaziz University is a public university in Jeddah. This page gathers what the Deanship of Admission and Registration publishes about external transfer, and the programmes of the Faculties of Engineering, Computing and Information Technology, and Science as the faculty pages on the university site list them. The admission page for new students on the university site is password-protected, so we carry no percentages or weights from it.

KAU publishes the following admission rules, which we carry over as the official page states them:

- External transfer is open to Saudis, to applicants with a Saudi mother and to mothers of a Saudi son.
- The student applies to transfer to the same specialisation they study at their current university.
- The student must have completed at least four semesters and passed 30 credit hours, 18 of them in the specialisation.
- Transfers from private universities are not accepted, nor from a diploma to a bachelor's programme.
- The cumulative GPA must be at least 3 out of 5 or 2.5 out of 4, or 85 out of 100 on a percentage system.
- Applicants are ranked against each other for the vacant seats.
